Threads, colourful cottons, and fabrics have been part of my life since childhood. Many years have passed since I first crocheted an endless chain, mesmerized by my grandmother’s hands as she worked her magic. I became a grateful collector of leftover fabric scraps, buttons, and yarns—remnants of the creative women around me who sewed, knitted, wove, and embroidered.
Years later, my mother and I opened weekend sewing workshops. These moments not only taught me the craft of sewing, but also how to organize my work in a way that brings joy and purpose.
